Shane Jackson, better known by his stage name, Tuesday Knight, was born and raised just outside of NYC. The youngest of three boys during the 90’s hip hop explosion, Shane found a passion for music early in life, but his decision to rap professionally has been a somewhat recent development. The product of a working class family, Shane was encouraged to pursue safer prospects. Graduating from Cornell, Shane began a promising career in business, and though he had achieved success, he felt unfulfilled. His mind kept drifting back to rap.
In 2017, Shane quit his job, built a studio in his basement and started rapping full time under the name Tuesday Knight. Striving for honesty and relatability in his music, Tuesday’s built a small but loyal following as well as some industry recognition, including BET Jams Artist of the week.
